JOIN THE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
Bolton Cancer Voices is celebrating their 14th Birthday in June and have chosen to mark the occasion with a concert – ‘Songs & Sax’, which takes place on Friday 19th June, 7-15pm at Harwood Methodist Church, Longsight, Harwood.
Celebrating the occasion with them, their special guests Midweek Sax, a Bolton based saxophone choir and local legend Dr Kevin Jones, known as Britain’s funniest Doctor and much in demand on both the comedy and after-dinner circuits.
The programme promises a night of popular, easy listening tunes, with a prescribed dose of humour.

The concert will be the final appearance of Katie Geelan, the Choir’s current Musical Director, who hands the baton on after almost three years with them.

‘It seems surreal to say that our inspirational Choir has been filling the air with the sound of music for 14 wonderful years: we really hope people will come along and celebrate this milestone with us.
We’re excited to be collaborating with Midweek Sax and to have Kevin back with us: it’s going to be a great night and a lovely way to bid farewell to Katie.
The Choir is free for members and we endeavour to meet as many of the associated costs as we can for people, so events like this are really important in raising the necessary funds not only to run the Choir but to ensure we can provide great opportunities and experiences for members.’
